Infocus Projectors, and Plasma Televisions information: Most current tv's are 4:3 (Think of it as 12:9 Reduced to its lowest common denominator). You'll prefer watching some programs on the small screen do you really want to see a 2m high newsreader?Projection screens cost money. Light follows the alignment of the molecules, and therefore is also twisted through 90 degrees as it passes through the liquid crystals. Hdtv (high-definition) signals, on the other hand, contain more than 700 lines -- hence their superior quality. When you're looking at a display or comparing two of them, there are a few things to keep in mind. The xenon and neon gas in a plasma television is contained in hundreds of thousands of tiny cells positioned between two plates of glass. A projector for movies needs high contrast, rather then high light output, and needs to be able to handle quick scene movements.
About Infocus Projectors
Portrait mode is particularly appropriate for a number of the most popular pc applications - such as word processing, browsing the www and dtp - and an increasing number of lcd panels come with a suitable base and the necessary software to support the feature. Since the polarized panels only let some of the backlight through, and color filters reduce transmission even further, the tradeoff has been dim pictures versus a bulky and energy-hungry light source. On the flip side, they're not quite as good at filling large screens with light, so you may want to choose lcd if you're using the projector mainly for presentations. |
